53:\\ The importance of renewing your mindset when it comes to dealing with rejection.

Rejection is one of those painful areas where when it happens to us, our thoughts can begin to try and dictate us with lies. We must take our thoughts captive in these moments because our mind is a powerful weapon that the enemy can use against ourselves.  
When we begin to understand that rejection is an okay and normal part of life, we will begin to get free from the fear of it and grow. Listen to this episode for more encouragement.

52:\\ Finding strength and purpose through faith.

Today I wanted to encourage you with some of my experience of when I first became a stay-at-home mom and how that was such a difficult transition for me. Just like you and many moms when we first decide to come home it can be such an adjustment to not only find your groove in the day but also find your worth in the work you do. 
That was all me until about year 2 in and I realized that I did not want to keep going on this way and missing out on the precious moments with my children. When I leaned in on God's strength for my motherhood and life, I realized that I could never do it alone. 
I hope this episode gives you the encouragement you need to slow down and be at peace with where you are in your life. Find rest in the Lord not in the world. 
 
Matthew 11:28-30 " Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for you souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Wow can you believe it has already been 2 years that I have been a podcaster?! I can't lol. The beautiful piece about all of this is that when God has put something in your heart, even when you do not feel qualified, God will equip you with what you need to accomplish that task. 
That is what happened with podcasting, I was not sure what I was supposed to be doing or what I was doing but I made a decision to step out in obedience and the most amazing growth has happened in these two years.
